Sabrina Koh Bee Leng

Sabrina Koh is the campus director, SingHealth-DukeNUS Institute of Medical Simulation at SKH and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Health & Social Sciences, Singapore Institute of Technology. She is specialized in critical care and medical/surgical nursing; she is an educator experienced in both academic and clinical nursing education, Sabrina was involved in education related projects such as setting up 4 simulation facilities and established nursing education units in 2 local restructured hospitals. As an active simulationist, simulation-education related activities includes developing and training in clinical workflows, patient safety, teamwork and communication, and clinical escalation through multi-disciplinary simulation training. She also conducts simulation faculty development program for simulation users and educators in Asia focusing on scenario designs, facilitation, debriefing and technical strategies. Faculty development in nursing education and simulation-based education are her main interests and passion. 

In the course of her work, Sabrina utilizes multiple simulation modalities in SBE delivery. She is well versed in the use of computerize manikins, task trainers, virtual & augmented reality and simulated person and integrate such modalities in curriculum design. 

She is a current member with the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH); a sub-committee member for Quality and as a site reviewer with the SSH Accreditation Committee. Sabrina is also a member with CHSE blueprint review committee, SSH. She is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator – Advanced (CHSE-A) and a Fellow (FSSH) with the SSH Academy. She is immediate past President of PASSH and past Vice-President of SSHS.
