A doctorpreneur, futurist and thought leader, Dr. Zubin J Daruwalla is the PwC Singapore & Asia Pacific Health Industries Leader and sits on the Global Health Leadership Team. Before working with PwC, Dr. Daruwalla’s career as a surgeon in both the public and private sectors across multiple countries has allowed him to gain a global perspective in providing his clients insights to solving their most complex challenges. He has extensive experience in Digital Health, Medical Education, HealthTech and MedTech, and is a Consultant, Advisor and Mentor to a number of start-ups and individuals in these spaces locally and internationally. Having delivered more than 100 talks across 5 continents and with more than thirty academic publications to his name, he holds Bachelors Honours Degrees in Medicine, Surgery and Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) as well as two Masters Degrees in Orthopaedic Surgery from the RCSI and National University Singapore. In addition to being a past invited Faculty of Harvard Medical School, Dr. Daruwalla currently remains an invited External Advisory Board member of the RCSI and a Director and Executive Committee Member of the Dyslexia Association of Singapore. Together with the world’s two most watched surgeons, Zubin is also the co-founder of HiruX, playing the role of clinical ambassador and HealthTech advocate.
